Carpets and rugs look their best when they are properly maintained and regularly cleaned. Dirt and debris can not only reduce the life of your carpet but can pose a risk for the development of allergies and asthma. Since regular vacuuming alone cannot remove all of the dirt and debris it is generally recommended that you get carpets professionally cleaned once per year. Pets, children and high traffic areas may require that carpets and rugs be cleaned more frequently.

Our Cleaning Process

Arslanian Bros. will employ the proper steps necessary to clean your carpet. We use a truck-mounted hot water extraction process to provide maximum cleaning with minimal carpet wetness. Although our service makes your carpet cleaning experience easy and worry-free we provide more information on how to prepare for your carpet cleaning. We deodorize and disinfect your carpets as well as treat them with 3M brand Scotchgard.

We perform the following steps to thoroughly clean your carpet:

Pre-Inspection

Every great carpet cleaning experience starts with a proper pre-inspection. Our service technician will inspect your particular areas of concern as well as noting carpet construction and soiling conditions. Our technician will also advise you of any possible permanent staining.

Furniture Moving

We will move everything within reason. Certain items like grandfather clocks, grand pianos, waterbeds, etc. cannot be moved for safety and drying reasons. The furniture we move will be protected with disposable blocks and tabs.

Pre-Spray & Pre-Spot

If needed, traffic areas and spots are pretreated for more effective soil and spot removal.

Extract, Rinse and Vacuum

Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction process will thoroughly clean and flush the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated so that carpet is not over-wet. We clean with water temperature between 180 °F – 200 °F. Every carpet that we clean is pH balanced so that there is no sticky residue left behind. This makes your carpet stay cleaner longer.

Post-Spot Treatment

If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed.


Note: Permanent stains identified by our service technician may not be removed.

Post Grooming

The carpet pile is set in one direction for faster drying and visual appeal.

  • Carpet stretching to correct ripples, bulges, and wrinkles that have occurred from improper installation or general wear-and-tear. A proper carpet stretch will revitalize your carpet’s color and lifespan as well as prevent tripping hazards.
  • Carpet patching to remove and replace irreversible stains, mildew, chemical damage, tears and burns. We can redeem your carpet from ruin by replacing the small damaged section with another piece cut to match.
  • Seam repairs to tie up broken seams that can be hazardous especially with young children around. We will heat bond and re-seam them for a permanent seal.
  • Tack stripping installation to hold your loose carpet in place.
  • Custom molding treatment to properly seal your carpet against hard surface floors such as bathroom floors, kitchen floors, entryways and thresholds.
