Arslanian Bros. - History

Our History

We are rich with history. Arslanian Brothers Carpet, Rug & Upholstery Cleaning was started by three Arslanian brothers Ted, Hank and Armen, in 1959. The company began with a passion for providing quality carpet cleaning and repair services in Northeast Ohio. Over the past half-century, Arslanian Brothers has led the way in the cleaning and care of carpets, oriental and fine rugs as well as home furnishings including upholstery, blinds, tile and grout.

The company has been family owned and operated since 1959. The founding brothers are actively involved in the company’s success and set the tone for over 65 years of superior customer service. Additionally, 11 members of the Arslanian family are employed with the company and the majority of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years. As we enter our next 65 years of service, we will continue our strong tradition of exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.

Our Team

Ted Arslanian – President and Founder
For the past half-century, Ted has been dedicated to ensuring that all of Arslanian Brothers’ customers are pleased. Since 1959, the company has become famous for unmatched customer service and superior cleaning at a reasonable price. He has served as president of the Ohio Carpet Cleaning Association, and has been on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Rug Cleaners.
Hank Arslanian – Retired
Hank manages the rug cleaning and repair departments for Arslanian Brothers. He joined the company in 1960, and is a very hands-on owner. He is an expert in all areas of rug cleaning and repair. Hank has recently retired from the company. Congratulations and thank you for your many years of service!

Armen Arslanian – Retired 
Armen manages the in-home cleaning department for Arslanian Brothers. He is in charge of scheduling crews for on-time service. Armen is also responsible for scheduling of pick-up and delivery of area rugs. He is a hands-on owner who joined the company in 1965. Armen has recently retired from the company. Congratulations and thank you for your many years of service!

Lauren Arlsanian  – Retired 
Lauren joined the team in 1996 and oversaw all of the office operations for Arslanian Bros. as a very hands-on owner. As the daughter of Ted, she was very involved in employee relations while assisting in the management of daily office tasks and customer accounts.  Lauren recently joined her uncles in retirement from the company. Congratulations and thank you for your years of service to our team! 

Don Arslanian – General Manager
Don oversees the in-home cleaning department for Arslanian Bros. He is responsible for scheduling crews to ensure timely service, as well as managing the scheduling of pick-up and delivery of area rugs. Don, a hands-on owner, joined the company in 1992 and is the son of Armen. He also handles the managing of the day-to-day office responsibilities for the company.

Al Arslanian – Operations Manager
Al manages the rug repair and cleaning departments for Arslanian Bros. A part of the company since 1991, he is a very hands-on owner. As the son of Hank, Al is an expert in all areas of rug cleaning and repair, and still is in the field, helping our teams with the cleaning process. Additionally, he is in charge of the expansion and promotion of the in-home cleaning services.

Cliff Arslanian – Operations Manager
Like his brother, Al, and father, Hank, Cliff oversees the rug cleaning and repair departments for Arslanian Bros. Joining the company in 1993, Cliff has become an expert in rug care, including cleaning and repair. Cliff remains in the field assisting our crews to this day and he partners with Al for the expansion and promotion of the in-home cleaning services.
